CLIENT CVARS
============

cg_drawClock
default: 1
desc: Draws the current time on the screen.

cg_drawEnhancedHUD
default: 1
desc: If set, uses the new HUD layout. Otherwise, the original SOF2
HUD will be used.

cg_drawEnhancedScoreboard
default: 1
desc: If set, draws the enhanced scoreboard with extra player info.
Otherwise, the original SOF2 scoreboard will be drawn.

cg_drawBestStats
default: 1
desc: Displays "Best Player" stats on the scoreboard at
the end of the game.

cg_allowVoiceCommandSounds
default: 1
desc: Allows a player to enable/disable hearing the voice command sounds.
This does not affect the text being displayed for the voice command.
1 = Allow all voice command sounds.
2 = Allow only voice command sounds from your team.
0 = Disable voice command sounds.

cg_drawDetailedObituary
default: 1
desc: If set, the console obituary messages (who killed who with what)
will show what body part was hit in the kill.
1 = General detail (i.e. "leg")
2 = Full detail (i.e. "left thigh")
0 = No detail

cg_drawTeamInfo
default: 0
desc: If set, allows you to view teammate health/armor under your crosshair.
This cvar is off by default as it uses some extra bandwidth.

cg_drawSpecList
default: 0
desc: If set, allows you to see a list of players that are spectating you.
This cvar is off by default as it uses some extra bandwidth.

cg_drawTeamOverlay
default: 0
desc: Allows you to view a list of all teammates in the corner of the
screen, along with their health, armor, weapon, and position. Set to
the maximum number of players you want listed. Set to 0 to disable.
This cvar is off by default as it uses some extra bandwidth.

cg_drawCustomTeams
default: 1
desc: If set, team names and team colors can change appearance based on the
server setup.

cg_autoScreenshot
default: 1
desc: Allows screenshots to be automatically saved of the intermission
scoreboard after a game.
0 = Disabled
1 = Auto screenshot after a match
2 = Auto screenshot after every game

cg_autoDemo
default: 0
desc: Determines whether a demo is automatically recorded during a match.

cg_drawFriend
default: 1
desc: This cvar controls what sort of teammate identification is draw on players.
This is an existing SOF2 cvar which has been extended.
0 = None
1 = Team flag is drawn over each player
2 = Player name is drawn over each player (experimental)

cg_drawTimeLeft
default: 0
desc: Draws the time remaining (timelimit) on the screen.

---------------

sv_adminfile
default: "admin.cfg"
desc: Specifies the file that holds the admin GUIDs.

sv_sysopfile
default: "sysop.cfg"
desc: Specifies the file that holds the sysop GUIDs.

sv_extracmdsfile

desc: Specifies the file that holds rcon commands available to admins.

sv_voicecmdsfile

sv_logo
default: "gfx/blank.png"
desc: This cvar allows you to display a custom 128x128 logo on the loading
screen, opposite the ROCmod logo. Make sure the image name is unique
to your clan or server so that it isn't replaced by another server's
pk3 files. The logo can be in JPG or PNG format, and PNG logos must
be true-color (24-bit or 32-bit).

sv_filterchatfile
default: "chatfilter.cfg"
desc: Specifies the file that holds the list of banned words, one per line.

g_weaponMod
default: "ext_data/sof2.wpn"
desc: Determines which weapon settings to use. You can change weapon mods
on the fly by giving each one a different filename, and changing
that filename here. Changes will occur on the next mapcycle.

g_duplicatePlayerMax
default: 3
desc: Specifies the maximum number of players that may connect to the server
with the same IP.

sv_adminControl
default: 0
desc: Specifies whether admins and sysops can be added/removed via the player
console or only through rcon.
0 = Admins/sysops can only be added/removed through rcon
1 = Admins/sysops can be added/removed via rcon or the player console

g_adminlog
default: "admin.log"
desc: Specifies the log file to record all admin activities.

g_scannerlog
default: "scanner.log"
desc: Specifies the log file to record all file scanner results.

sv_scannerfile
default: "scanlist.cfg"
desc: Specifies the file that holds the data for the client files to be scanned.


Mod verification
------------------

sv_modClient
default: 1
desc: Normally, ROCmod functions as a client/server mod, requiring the
clients to download part of the mod for full functionality. If you
wish to run the mod in serverside-only mode, with reduced
functionality, set this cvar to zero and delete the client file
from the server.
On unpure servers, clients who already have the clientside files
are still allowed to use them if g_verifyClients is on.

g_verifyClients
default: 1
desc: If set, clients will be checked to make sure they are running the
same version of the mod as the server. Unverified clients will
receive a periodic warning message.

g_verifyClientsTime
default: 30
desc: Specifies the length of time (in seconds) between warnings sent
to unverified clients.

g_verifyClientsMax
default: 0
desc: Specifies the number of times an unverified client will be sent
warnings before being kicked. Set to 0 to disable.

Teamkill/Spawnkill/Flag steal
-------------------------------

g_teamkillNoDouble

desc: By default, SOF2 doubles teamkill percentages when the person you
killed was carrying a gametype item (i.e. flag). Set this cvar to
turn that behavior off. This is most useful when used with the
flag penalty cvars.

g_teamkillAutoPenaltyBox
default: 200
desc: Level of damage a player can do to teammates before being
automatically thrown into the penalty box. Set to 0 to disable.

g_teamkillAutoPenaltyBoxTime
default: 60
desc: Lentgh of time (in seconds) a player will stay in the penalty box
when thrown in for teamkilling.

g_teamkillWarning
default: 0
desc: If set, players receive a warning every time they injure a teammate.

g_teamkillBackfire
default: 0
desc: Percentage of teamkill damage that will backfire and hit the attacker.
Set to 0 to disable.

g_teamkillVoteKick

desc: Determines the TK percentage a player can reach before a vote is
automatically started to kick them. Set to 0 to disable.

desc: If set, players who steal the flag from teammates are automatically

g_disableAdminInPenaltyBox

desc: If set, admins who get thrown into the penalty box are unable to use
any admin commands until they get out.

g_enableAdmin

desc: If set, admins are allowed on the server.

g_enableReferee
default: 1
desc: If set, referees are allowed on the server.

g_enableModerator
default: 1
desc: If set, match moderators are allowed on the server.

g_adminVote
default: 1
desc: Specifies how voting is handled for admins.
0 = Admins cannot call a vote if voting is disabled
1 = Admins can call a vote at any time, even if disabled
2 = Admins can call a vote at any time, and the vote will immediately
pass (if active admin)

desc: Specifies the default ban time used by the admin menu.

g_defaultPenaltyBoxTime

the server. They must manually unsuspend to use their priviledges.

desc: Determines whether a player's admin status is revealed, and all admin
actions made anonymous.
0 = A player's admin status is not hidden
1 = A player's admin status is hidden and all actions are anonymous
2 = Admins are anonymous, and not visible on the scoreboard while spectating

g_allowAdminGhost

desc: If set, active admins are able to suspend their respawn counter while
dead.

g_adminBackfire
default: 0
desc: If set, teamkill and spawnkill backire will apply to admins as well.

g_protectClan
default: 1
desc: If set, clan members can not be vote kicked or banned from the server.

g_dummyReward

desc: Score points awarded for killing a target dummy.


Realism
---------

g_realisticSniper
default: 1
desc: If set, sniper accuracy is greatly reduced while running and jumping
to prevent unrealistic no-scope shots

g_realisticShotgun
default: 0
desc: If set, the shotgun blasts are tested against the player model rather
than the players bounding box. This fixes the crouch/lean exploit.
This cvar is off by default as it may slightly increase game lag.

g_realisticAmmo
default: 0
desc: If set, reloading a weapon will replace the entire clip, rather than
refilling it.

Camping
---------

g_camper

desc: Specifies the length of time (in seconds) a player can camp in one area
before being warned (and possibly killed) for camping. Set to 0 to
disable.

g_camperRadius

desc: Specifies the radius of movement within which a player is considered
camping. This number is roughly in inches.

g_camperMode
default: 0
desc: Determines how campers are dealt with after the length of time
specified by the g_camper cvar.
0 = All players are notified and punished for camping
1 = All players except snipers are notified and punished for camping

g_camperAction
default: 0
desc: Determines how campers are to be punished.
0 = Campers are killed
1 = Campers are kicked
2 = Campers are marked as dummies
3 = Campers are planted
4 = Campers are surrendered

Chat
------

desc: Determines whether voice command sounds will be played or not.
0 = All voice commands are disabled
1 = All voice commands are enabled (normal mode)
2 = All voice commands are enabled (server mode, may reduce server lag
but will also override the client's cg_allowVoiceCommandSounds cvar)

g_voiceTalkingGhosts
default: 1
desc: If set, ghosts (dead players) are able to talk to alive players in
non-respawn games (such as inf and dem). This cvar is on by default,
since it already existed in the game (though it was disfunctional).

g_filterChat
default: 0
desc: If set, all chat text is filtered for banned words, as specified by the
server in the sv_filterchatfile file.

g_globalMute
default: 0
desc: If set, all players are permanently muted except during warmup,
intermission, and pause.

Player features
-----------------

g_allowColorNames
default: 1
desc: If set, colored player names are shown in team-based games.
Set to 0 to use only team colors. Changes to this cvar are deferred
until player change or mapcycle.

g_explosionGore
default: 0
desc: If set, SMOHG92 and M203 grenade explosions cause massive
dismemberment gore at close range (rather than the player just
falling over).
NOTE: This cvar is now off by default, due to the video lag it can
cause if there are many explosions visible.

g_clientFeatures
default: 3
desc: Determines how often (in seconds) server-controlled client features
are sent to players. These features require periodic updates, and may
slightly increase lag. This currently includes the following features:
- Teammate info
- Spectator list
- Team overlay
Quicker updates look nicer, but require more server CPU time and may
increase lag. Set to 0 to disable.

g_punishRecon
default: 0
desc: If set, players will be unable to get out of punishment by reconnecting.
0 = No player data is saved through a reconnect
1 = Punishments are remembered and reapplied after a reconnect
2 = Both punishments and player score/stats are remembered and
reapplied after a reconnect

g_voteLimit
default: 5
desc: The maximum number of votes a player can call during a map.

g_autoMatchDemo
default: 1
desc: Determines whether all clients should automatically start a demo when
a match starts.
0 = A demo will never be started automatically
1 = A demo may be started if the player has cg_autoDemo enabled

disable_armor

disable_nightvision
default: 0
desc: These cvars have been added to match the existing disable_weapon_*
cvars, to allow servers to prevent players from using these items.
Changes will take effect on the next mapcycle.
NOTE: Currently, players are still able to outfit these items, they are
just unable to use them.


Gameplay
----------

g_mapcycleSwapTeams
default: 0
desc: If set, teams are automatically swapped at the end of a map.

g_mapcycleShuffleTeams
default: 0
desc: If set, teams are automatically shuffled up at the end of a map.

g_bestStatsMinKills
default: 0
desc: Determines the minimum number of kills a player has to have to be
included in the "Best Player" stats.

g_bestStatsTime
default: 10
desc: Specifies how long the intermission stats are displayed before
switching to the scoreboard. Only applies when the server is in
serverside-only mode.

g_allowWarmupFriendlyFire
default: 0
desc: Determines whether friendly fire is enabled during warmup, and how
warmup respawning is handled.
0 = Friendly fire is disabled
1 = Friendly fire is enabled, and gametype respawn points are used
2 = Friendly fire is enabled, and deathmatch respawn points are used

g_intermissionDelay
default: 10
desc: Specifies the number of seconds the intermission will remain visible
once people click "ready".

g_timeRemaining
default: 1
desc: If set, players will be notified when 5, 3, and 1 minute is
remaining before the timelimit.

g_inactivitySpectator
default: 0
desc: If set, spectators will be kicked for inactivity like regular
players.

g_killSpree
default: 0
desc: If set, the game will announce when players are on killing sprees.

g_doWarmup
default: 0
desc: This SOF2 cvar controls warmup and has been extended.
0 = Warmup is disabled
1 = Warmup is enabled at the start of each map
2 = Warmup is enabled at the start of each map and when there are
less than 2 players

g_emptyMapcycle
default: 0
desc: If set, the server will continue to change maps using the mapcycle
even if the server is empty. This is useful to return to a common
map if an unknown map causes the server to clear out.

g_alternateSort
default: 0
desc: Determines what sort of scoring system to use.
0 = Scores are based on kills and flag caps (SOF2 default)
1 = Scores are based on kill ratios

g_allowItemDrop
default: 1
desc: Specifies whether players are able to drop gametype items after they
have picked them up.

g_dropWeapon
default: 0
desc: Determines whether a well-placed shot to a player's hand will cause
them to drop the weapon they are currently holding.
0 = Disabled
1 = Weapon will be dropped, player will switch to knife
2 = Weapon will be dropped, player will switch to next weapon

g_lastPlayer
default: 0
desc: If set during a non-respawn gametype (i.e. INF or ELIM), players will
receive a message telling them when they are the last player alive on
their team.

g_lockSpec
default: 1
desc: If set, spectators are unable to spectate locked teams unless invited.

g_suicideTeamPenalty
default: 0
desc: Normally if a player commits suicide, only their own score is penalized
for it. This cvar determines how much the team as a whole will be
penalized as well. This number will normally be negative. Set to 0 to
disable.

g_teamChangeDeath
default: 1
desc: By default, switching teams during a game will count as a death to
the player. Set this cvar to 0 to disable this behavior.

g_inactivityAction
default: 0
desc: Determines how inactive players are dealt with.
0 = Player is kicked
1 = Player is moved to spectator
2 = Both, player will be moved to spectator if they aren't already, and
later kicked if still inactive

g_allowVote
default: 1
desc: This SOF2 cvar controls voting and has been extended.
0 = Voting is disabled
1 = Voting is enabled, at least half of all players must agree to pass vote
2 = Voting is enabled, at least half of voters must agree to pass vote

g_autoEvenTeams
default: 0
desc: Specifies how unbalanced the teams can get (how many more players on
one team than the other) before the teams are automatically evened.
Set to 0 to disable.


File Scanning
---------------

g_scannerInterval
default: 0
desc: Determines how often, in seconds, file verification requests should be sent
to all players. Setting this too low may result in missed responses or even
some client lag. Set to 0 to disable. For more information about file
verification scanning, see scanner.txt.

g_scannerRepeat
default: 3
desc: Specifies the number of times a scan request will be repeated before assuming
there is no match and taking action (uses the default action). Also determines
the number of times warning messages (if used) will be printed before resuming
the scan.

g_scannerDefaultAction
default: 0
desc: Determines what action will be taken by default when a verification mis-match
is found.
0 = Player is kicked
1 = Warning message is broadcast to the server
2 = Warning message is broadcast to all admins
3 = Results are only written to the log.
